Beyond the Crisis: New Acts of Creation Exhibition Meets Art Lovers at Kasa Gallery

The "Beyond the Crisis: New Acts of Creation" exhibition, organized as part of Beykoz University Faculty of Art and Design's 4th International Symposium on Interdisciplinary Art, Design, and Social Sciences, BORDER/LESS 4.0, was held at Kasa Gallery between June 26 and July 4, 2026.

Presented concurrently with the symposium, the exhibition explores the evolving nature of creativity in the 21st century through an interdisciplinary perspective. As the traditional boundaries between disciplines continue to dissolve, the exhibition emphasizes that creativity is no longer confined to studios or laboratories but has become an essential tool for resilience, resistance, and transformation.

Examining how digital transformation, artificial intelligence, ecological imperatives, and emerging social movements are redefining what it means to be "creative," the exhibition brings together works across a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation, photography, video, and digital art. It aims to highlight how art functions as a space for experimentation and critical engagement with contemporary issues.

The exhibition is curated by curator, art writer, and AICA member Dr. Derya Yücel, while Sabancı University serves as the venue sponsor. The Faculty of Art and Design at Beykoz University extends its sincere thanks to Kasa Gallery and all those whose valuable contributions made the exhibition possible.
