Anime Club

Purpose of the Club

The Anime Club aims to bring together anime and manga enthusiasts under one roof, helping them connect with each other and enhance social interaction within the university. The club also defines itself as a community where members contribute to each other’s cultural growth.

To achieve this, the club organizes activities focused on visual narrative analysis and production. It encourages discussions on globally renowned anime and manga works within their cultural and historical contexts and introduces students to lesser-known artistic examples.

Additionally, the club seeks to demonstrate to those unfamiliar with anime that it is a rich and expressive medium—just like films and TV series—and that manga can be considered akin to novels and literary masterpieces that tell powerful stories. The ultimate goal is to promote appreciation and understanding of anime and manga culture.

Areas of Activity

  • Sharing knowledge and conducting analytical and practical studies on anime works
  • Drawing and digital design workshops
