Aviation Club

About the Club

The Aviation Club was officially established on March 20, 2017, by Beykoz University students passionate about aviation. The club aims to bring together and inform anyone interested in aviation or seeking knowledge from the sector, regardless of age. The club actively participates in all aviation-related activities and organizes events primarily for university students, while remaining open to the public. Those interested in gaining information can reach out to club members or via the club’s social media accounts to receive accurate information.

Events

Aviation Museum Visit (18.12.2024)
During this event, we explored our national values and aviation heritage. We had the opportunity to closely view several iconic aircraft in the aviation sector. Following an informative presentation at the museum, we left a note of thanks on behalf of the club. Participants enjoyed a meaningful time with our members and museum staff.

International Women in Aviation Week (09.03.2017)
This conference highlighted the importance of women in aviation. We collaborated with the “Aviation for Everyone” association and gained valuable insights from various fields. The event featured:

Membership

Membership is governed by the club’s regulations:

Article 7:

  • Students enrolled in any faculty, school, vocational school, or institute of the university may join.
  • Membership applications can be submitted to any Executive Board member.
  • Membership is divided into active and passive members.
  • Applicants are initially accepted as passive members.
  • Active membership is determined by participation in club activities and general assemblies within an academic year.
  • Only active members (except in the founding year) have the right to vote and be elected.

Interested individuals must contact the club via social media or members to fill out the membership form. External participants can join events upon submitting their information.

Article 8:

  • Members may resign at any time without providing a reason by submitting a written request to the Executive Board.
  • Members who act against the club’s purpose or receive disciplinary penalties may be removed with a justified decision approved by the President.
