Green Crescent Club

Club Purpose

The main purpose of the Green Crescent Club is to help Beykoz University students become conscious, responsible, and socially beneficial individuals within their social life.

In this context, the club aims to:

• Understand the social issues related to Green Crescent’s areas of activity and develop theoretical and practical solutions,
• Promote solidarity, awareness, and cooperation among students regarding Green Crescent’s fields of work,
• Provide opportunities for club members to gain experience by collaborating with other student clubs and non-governmental organizations.

Club Activity Areas

The club carries out various social, educational, and awareness-raising activities aligned with Green Crescent’s mission, including:

• Organizing initiatives to increase students’ knowledge and awareness about Green Crescent’s focus areas,
• Conducting research and preparing informative materials about addiction and other related social issues, and displaying them on campus boards,
• Preparing and presenting presentations, films, slides, and exhibitions suitable for the club’s objectives,
• Hosting talks, panels, and educational programs with experts in relevant fields,
• Participating in inter-university and regional Green Crescent events, competitions, and projects,
• Representing Green Crescent at Beykoz University and supporting the promotion and expansion of its activities.

Advisory

The Green Crescent Club operates under the supervision of an Academic Advisor appointed by the Rectorate/Faculty.
The Club President also serves as the Green Crescent representative at Beykoz University.
