Erasmus Outgoing Student

Application and evaluation criteria, quotas and grant amounts are specified in the announcements published in the autumn and spring semesters of each academic year in Erasmus+ Student Learning Mobility.

Erasmus Student Mobility for Learning is carried out within the framework of existing bilateral agreements between a higher education institution with Erasmus University Charter (EUU) in Turkey and a higher education institution of another European country with EUU to carry out Erasmus exchange.

The activity is the realisation of a part of the education of the student registered in the higher education institution in the higher education institution abroad, which is partnered with a bilateral agreement. The duration of the activity can be between 2 and 12 months, which can be completed within the same academic year.
Double major students can only apply from one department during the application period. Students who freeze their university registration do not benefit from mobility. 

Application Requirements:

  • The student is a full-time student enrolled in a higher education programme at any of the formal education levels within the higher education institution,
  • To be at least a second year student when travelling abroad,
  • In order for students to apply; first year students must have an academic GPA of at least 2.20/4.00; second and third year students must have an academic GPA of at least 2.50/4.00,
  • To have a sufficient number (30) ECTS load,
  • If the student has previously benefited from Erasmus Mobility, the mobility period should not exceed 12 months with the new activity.
