A student can receive Erasmus study mobility grant only once. A student who has benefited from study mobility in a previous academic year can benefit from the activity provided that he/she does not receive a grant. The receipt of an internship mobility grant does not prevent the receipt of a study mobility grant once. Students can only receive one grant for both types of activities. However, priority in terms of grant is given to the student who has not benefited from Erasmus activity before.
A Grant Agreement is signed with the students whose passport and visa procedures are completed before departure. Students are paid their grants in 2 instalments. The first instalment is 80% of the total grant. The first instalment is paid before the student leaves. The second instalment is paid at the end of the study period, after the student submits the necessary documents to the Erasmus office, the remaining 20% of the total grant is paid.
The Erasmus grant is allocated to the student after signing a grant agreement with the Erasmus Coordination Office. The grant calculation is calculated within the scope of the dates specified in the Invitation Letter that the student will receive from the counter institution before departure. After the student returns, the grant calculation is made again after the student submits the Confirmation of Exchange to the Erasmus Office. According to the new calculated grant, if the dates specified in the student's invitation letter include a long date range, the Erasmus Office may allocate the difference remaining grant from the student.
