Directorate of Construction, Technical and Administrative Support Services is responsible for carrying out activities related to constructing or ensuring the construction of all buildings, facilities, and physical spaces required to support the university’s educational, cultural, and sports services, as well as to meet essential needs such as healthcare, nutrition, and accommodation. Within the scope of Administrative Support Services, the Directorate also performs all support activities—including maintenance, repair, cleaning, and security of university buildings and facilities—to provide students with a more comfortable learning environment.
Duties, authorities, and responsibilities of the Directorate are as follows:
- Constructing new buildings and blocks, including open sports facilities, in line with emerging needs in addition to existing indoor and outdoor spaces,
- Carrying out renovation and repair works of existing buildings and facilities,
- Preparing architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical projects for construction, renovation, major repairs, and completion of infrastructure systems and installations,
- Conducting acceptance procedures and taking delivery of completed buildings and facilities,
- Planning the university’s vehicle organization and transportation operations,
- Performing services such as cleaning, security, lighting, heating, cooling, and maintenance-repair,
- Planning student shuttle services operated under the university’s responsibility and supervising their implementation,
- Carrying out maintenance and repair of university-owned vehicles,
- Managing subscription processes (electricity, water, telephone, natural gas) for all university buildings and facilities,
- Ensuring the supervision and monitoring of daily operations.
