The purpose of Directorate of Career Center is to contribute to development of student competencies before they complete their education as well as supporting them in the process of making conscious career choices and enabling them to get to know the business life and get ready for the business world before graduation through participation to internship programs, technical training visits, trainings, conferences and sector fairs.
Cooperating with several sectors for activities that will host student-graduate-sector triad for guiding students and graduates throughout their career plans and sending “Internship and Job Vacancies” e-mails to the graduates and students to inform them about personnel demands based on sector needs and requirements are among primary duties of the Career Center.
As a result of our efforts, we say “We are here” when it comes to monitoring sectorial business lives of our students and graduates and to complete their informational needs.
Furthermore, we have established “Graduate Information System” and we are still working on transforming this system into a platform where news, activities for the graduates are shared, graduates can have secure access and update their profile information, post news/announcements and graduates can communicate with other graduates or graduates office.
The Career Center functions as a center that can be visited by all students and graduates at any time to seek guidance about all issues related to their careers.
