Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management (English) (Non-Thesis)

PROGRAM GOALS

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Non-Thesis Master's Program is offered as an up-to-date education program for professional business life. In addition to equipping students with up-to-date theoretical knowledge with its broad and comprehensive content, the program supports them to be successful in their business life with comprehensive scientific studies for practical applications. Hence, the program will provide local and foreign students with the knowledge and equipment required by changing conditions and will help them to conduct qualified research while also developing their creativity in their professional lives.


PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management English Non-Thesis Master's Program consists of a total of three semesters of education, including 10 courses and a master's project that will last one semester.

Our students participating in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Non-Thesis Master's Program in English will have knowledge in different fields such as innovation and technology management, sustainability, knowledge management, intellectual property management, integrated management systems, leadership and team management in addition to digital brand building, as required by today's conditions, as well as traditional topics related to entrepreneurship like other universities in Turkey and abroad. In this way, the program will provide local and international students with the knowledge and equipment required by changing conditions and will help them to conduct qualified research and develop their creativity in their professional lives.

In line with the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Regulations, students studying in formal education programs are obliged to attend 70% of the courses.

Non-Thesis Master's Program students complete their Master's Term Project under the supervision of an advisor in the third semester. Therefore, students enjoy the opportunity to gain experience in carrying out scientific research, analysis and writing. In the non-thesis program, in the relevant semester, students write their project by completing a graduation study under the leadership of their term project advisor.


CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Our students will learn about how to establish successful enterprises and the importance of innovation in the light of evolving and changing environmental, technological and social conditions. Thanks to this knowledge, students will make a significant contribution to national development and growth by establishing much more successful and healthy enterprises. Students are expected to start their own enterprises in various sectors or play an important role in increasing internal entrepreneurship by introducing an entrepreneurial and innovative culture in the companies they work for as a result of what they have gained from our non-thesis master's program dealing with current issues on a wider scale.


APPLICATION CONDITIONS AND EVALUATION

Applications are made by filling out the Graduate Programs Institute online application form. As far as the applications to the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Master's Program are concerned, there are no restrictions regarding the fields the applicants may have completed their undergraduate education in.

English proficiency is required for admission to Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Master's Programs. For the application, candidates must have at least 60 points from YDS / e-YDS / YÖKDİL exams or submit an exam result showing that they have received an equivalent score (TOEFL: 72, PEARSON PTE ACADEMIC: 55, CAE: C) from an international foreign language exam accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM.

Candidates who do not have a foreign language exam result certificate can take the Beykoz University English Proficiency Exam (Beykoz-Prof). The exam schedule is announced to the candidates by the Graduate Programs Institute. Candidates who score above 60 points in the exam fulfil the English proficiency requirement. Candidates who are not successful in the exam can enrol in Beykoz University English Preparatory Program.

The documents required for the applications are stated below:

  • Official Identification Documents (ID)
  • Passport Photo
  •  Undergraduate Diploma or Graduation Certificate (Graduation Certificates obtained through e-Government are also valid.)
  • Undergraduate Transcript (Transcript Certificates obtained through e-Government are also valid.)
  • Foreign Language Examination Result (YDS / e-YDS / YÖKDİL at least 60 points / TOEFL: 72 /PEARSON PTE ACADEMIC: 55 /CAE: C)
  • Resume (CV)
  • A Military Service Certificate (Only mandatory for male candidates)

Only the applications of candidates who submit complete application documents are taken into consideration.


PROGRAM DURATION

The medium of instruction of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management Non-Thesis Master's Program is English.

The duration of the Non-Thesis Master's Program is at least 2 semesters and at most 3 semesters.


EDUCATION PLACE, DAYS AND HOURS

The courses are held at the Kavacık Building of Beykoz University Graduate Programs Institute between 19.00-21.45 on weekdays and 10.00-16.00 on Saturdays.

With the agreements that can be made between Beykoz University and institutions, a special program can be created only for the employees of the relevant institution who meet the above-mentioned admission requirements. In this case, the courses can be held partially or completely at a venue to be determined by the institution.

ACADEMIC STAFF

Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management English Non-Thesis Master's Program is coordinated by Beykoz University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nigar Çağla Mutlucan accompanied by strong academic staff. The academic staff consist of young academics who have a good command of the current research topics of the field as well as experienced academics standing out in their fields.
