Beykoz University established a Research Development and Innovation (R-D-I) unit, which reports to the Rectorship, for the purpose of setting research goals determined in parallel to the vision and mission of Beykoz University and creating strategies to achieve these goals.
The R-D-I Unit is responsible for execution of strategies determined based on specific, achievable, implementable and assessable goals that are identified and prioritized by the Unit and for planning, structuring, application, monitoring and assessment activities to be performed within this framework.
Five primary goals, which are determined by the R-D-I Unit by taking national development plans, science and technology policies, and strategic plans into consideration, and in parallel to the social needs and global developments, are as follows:
- Development of Research, Development and Innovation Infrastructure and System
- Organization and Enhancement of Science, Research, Creativity, Innovation Culture and Climate
- Creating Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Research, Development and Extension Cooperation
- Organization and Operation of University & Industry Cooperation Platform
- Assuring Recognition of Beykoz University’s Research and Innovation Capacity
